Occupancy & Temperature Sensor
Introduction:
The wall stainless steel plate is designed with occupancy detection & Temperature sensing. This plate utilize mm wave radar technology, high-sensitivity 24GHz human presence status sensing module. Its working principle is to use FMCW frequency-modulated continuous wave to detect human targets in the set space. Combined with radar signal processing and accurate human
body sensing algorithms, it realizes high-sensitivity human presence status sensing, and can identify human bodies in motion and stationary states. Whereas Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor detect human presence by identifying the change in infrared radiation across the polarity of the sensor; however, PIR sensors are dependent on human movement. As a result, PIR sensors are unable to accurately detect stationary human subjects, resulting in false results. The millimeter-wave radar can sense the human presence, stationary and moving people within the detection area. Moreover, it can even detect a static or stationary human presence such as a sleeping person. This product is mainly used in indoor scenes to sense whether there is a moving or micro-moving human body in the area, and trigger the relay output. Relay output will be deactivated after 2 minutes of time delay when no human detected in the area. The farthest sensing distance can reach up to 5 meters (16 Ft) with the angle of + 60 degrees. This plate is combined with Temperature sensor as well (Refer part selection for Thermistor type).
